I play a lot of FPS games (Call of Duty, Halo, Battlefield, Overwatch, etc), and since FPS games have now transitioned into Live Service games, your progress becomes temporary rather than permanent. You’re basically climbing the same ladder and getting back to the same level as before. This is why I personally have become very bored of this new trend amongst games regardless of the genre (ARPG, FPS, etc) where your progression is tied to Seasons, and when a new Season starts your progression from the previous Season gets wiped, and now with the new Season you do it all over again. Would you not just be climbing the same ladder and getting back to the same level as before and doing it over and over and over? If you are not having fun leveling and building your char, why are you playing? If leveling is not fun for you, are you going to play 80 hours of something you hate doing? I’m genuinely asking here.
It’s going to take upwards of 80 hours to get to max level. I don’t understand everyone who hates the idea of starting over in a game like this.
